Feeling Extreme Stress Plus Your Genes Play An Important Role in Hair Loss in Women

Today, it has become very common for women to experience hair loss and in fact, modern women are also quite ill equipped to cope with hair loss since they are too obsessed with keeping their hair looking as beautiful as possible to worry about the consequences. However, there are several causes for hair loss in women and it is up to each woman to find out the true cause for hair loss in them before they can hope to find an appropriate treatment method that will allow their hair to grow once more and also put an end to their hair loss.

    Family History

If you look at Aunt Bessie or Cousin Sallie and their hair is falling out suddenly, you too may face the same fate with sudden hair loss. Talk to them and find out when this sudden hair loss began and what they did about it, especially if you could never tell they had sudden hair loss.

The second factor for sudden hair loss in women can be linked directly to stress. Is it no wonder that a woman who has to work full-time out of the home and in the home as well, would experience great levels of stress and anxiety as well? Sudden hair loss should no big surprise as a direct result of being on an emotional roller-coaster.

Hormonal imbalances are other causes for hair loss in women, especially women that are affected by androgen sensitivity and in any case any imbalance in the hormones is known to cause major problems with hair growth and over time will lead to falling hair.

Harsh chemicals used on women’s hair can often lead to damage of the scalp. The scalp contains the hair roots or hair follicles which can lead to permanent hair damage. Be careful with hair styling gels and mouses with large amounts of alcohol which can damage these precious roots that nurture your hair.

When a woman or man is faced with health problems, sometimes the medications prescribed can have sudden hair loss as a side effect. When a medicine is prescribed for you, ask specifically about the damaging side effects, in particular to your hair growth.

Another common problem experienced is sudden hair loss in women and if this is happening to you the reasons are your genes as well as your stressful condition. However, in case you are in need of obtaining advice regarding causes for hair loss in women, you could ask your hair stylist who will advise you about how to avoid hair loss, or you could ask your dermatologist for advice.
